Foundation Ambassadors
The ambassadors of the Börje Salming ALS Foundation are Daniel Alfredsson, Micael Bydén, Rolf Edberg, Rasmus Sandin, Valter Skarsgård, Ingemar Stenmark and Henric von Zweigbergk. The ambassadors work to spread knowledge about ALS and raise money for research and support for relatives.

Daniel Alfredsson
Daniel Alfredsson has played 18 seasons in the NHL and is now part of the Ottawa Senators coaching staff.
Daniel Alfredsson faced Börje several times during his career, both on and off the ice.
Micael Bydén
Micael Bydén is Sweden's commander-in-chief and a long-time friend of Börje Salming.
In his role as commander-in-chief, Micael has met colleagues and friends who have been affected by ALS.
Rolf Edberg
Rolf is a Swedish hockey player who has played for several teams, one of them is AIK.
He has personal experience of what ALS means as a relative. Rolf Edberg's wife, Anna-Kari, was affected by ALS in 2016 and died a few years later.
Rasmus Sandin
Rasmus is a hockey player in the Washington Capitals and previously in the Toronto Maple Leafs.
When Rasmus started the season in Toronto, he met Börje Salming.
Valter Skarsgård
Valter Skarsgård is an actor and has, among other things, played the role of Börje in the Viaplay series The Journey of a Legend.
Börje was involved both in choosing Valter for the role and during the recording.
Ingemar Stenmark
Ingemar Stenmark is one of the world's most prominent in slalom and giant slalom.
Ingemar was a close friend of Börje and of the Salming family.
Henric von Zweigbergk
Henric von Zweigbergk has extensive experience with televised galas, fundraising for charitable causes and a large network of contacts in entertainment and sports.
Henric met Börje Salming many times through work and privately.
